Moskvin S.V., Strazhev S.V. Low-level laser therapy in oncology. Series "Effective Low-Level Laser Therapy". V. 12. - Moscow–Tver:  Triada, 2020. - 960 p.

Low-level laser therapy has been successfully used  in all areas of modern medicine for over 50 years. Oncology is no exception, although until recently there has been some prejudice in both some patients and specialists, which is associated, first of all, with insufficient information. The main objective of the work is precisely aimed at “elimination of illiteracy” through the analysis of the results of many years of research, providing access to this information to the general public.

The material presented in the book unequivocally proves not only the complete safety of low-level laser therapy, but also the ability of low-intensity laser illumination (LILI) under certain conditions to suppress tumor growth and prevent metastasis. Laser prophylaxis methods are almost guaranteed to prevent the occurrence of complications of surgical intervention, chemotherapy and radiotherapy, LILI significantly improves the quality of life of patients, allows not interrupted course of treatment and ultimately achieves significantly better results. In the treatment of patients with complications or adverse side effects, low-level laser therapy demonstrates uncontested high efficiency, and is also indispensable at the stage of rehabilitation.

The high efficiency and safety of low-level laser therapy is directly confirmed by the fact that the method is included in the Federal project "Cancer control" (Order of the Ministry of Health of Russian Federation No. 56n of February 12, 2019).

The exceptional effectiveness of modern low-level laser therapy techniques developed by Russian scientists and clinicians is based on an understanding of the biological (therapeutic) effects of LILI and decades of clinical experience. The methodology is also improved by the constant modernization of modern laser therapeutic equipment (LASMIK® series), which makes it possible to fully realize the potential of already known techniques, as well as new and promising ones, for example, intravenous laser blood illumination (ILBI) using laser light with different wavelengths: 365 and 405 nm (LUVBI®), 445 nm (blue spectrum) and 525 nm (green spectrum).

The book is intended for oncologists, rehabilitation specialists, physiotherapists, students of specialized courses in laser medicine.
